Inwicks and Outwicks

An inwick is a shot where you aim to hit the inner side of a stone that's already been played, to move it away from the tee. An outwick is a shot where you aim to hit the outer side of a stone that's already been played, to move it towards the tee.

The tee is the centre of the house, or 'target'.
